Wild Toride Clay Tea Bowl
These bowls are made from clay found at the Toride Campus of the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts in Toride, Ibaraki, which is harvested and processed by hand to produce beautiful, high-temperature, workable clay.
The glaze used on this piece is made from Inada stone powder, a by-product of a stone cutter in Ibaraki Prefecture, making this tea bowl 100% local and sustainable.
Please note that traditional Japanese bowls are often fired stacked, leaving small marks on the inside of the bowls.
